About the benefits of joining an Alliance
Heroes of History can be played on your own, but joining an Alliance opens up rewards that aren't available otherwise.
Treasure HuntTreasure Hunt can be played solo, but every encounter you clear also counts towards your Alliance's

ranking.
A higher placement brings better rewards for everyone, and the points collected along the way unlock Alliance checkpoint chests.

Battle for AtlantisFour Alliances compete for control of Atlantis. Taking part earns

Tritons, which can be spent on Orichalcum tokens to activate Pantheon nodes and make your heroes stronger.
You don't need to place first to earn them, though staying active and coordinating with your Alliance will earn you more. Checkpoint rewards come on top of that, and are yours to collect as you reach them.

When to join or switchTreasure Hunt and Battle for Atlantis both run in seasons, so
timing matters. If you join or switch an Alliance while a season is already running, you can't take part in it and will have to wait for the next one.
Treasure Hunt has a
short break every Thursday 12:00 to Friday 12:00 UTC. Every second week that break falls during the Battle for Atlantis
Resolution phase, and that's the moment to switch, since you then start both seasons from the beginning.
To check what's currently running, tap the megaphone icon in the bottom menu and open the

Event Calendar tab on the left.

Alliance chatEvery Alliance gets its own chat in the game. It's where members talk to each other, coordinate their moves in Atlantis, share their heroes, compare battle strategies, and celebrate legendary summons or new eternalizations together.
