What are the event ranking and the event leagues?
Event ranking is a way to win additional rewards in the Japan Event. You take part in the event leaderboard as soon as you have spent any cherry blossoms in the event window.
The event ranking can be accessed directly in the event window, through the ranking button located in the upper left part of it:
Use the button to enter the ranking. The event ranking is split into 5 leagues: Hobby, Amateur, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. You will be placed in one of them, depending on the number of Event Progress (total obtained progress points towards the Grand Prize, across the entire event). In the example below, the player is placed in the Amateur league:
⚠ The number of progress points required to be placed in a given league increases over the course of the event.
In the example above, the required points to be placed in the Amateur league are 30, while the next league, which is Bronze, requires 201. The player obtained 48 so far, hence their placement in the Amateur league.
As players make more and more progress over the course of the event,
the required points will increase, so you can be relegated to a lower league if you don't keep up.
Depending on your league at the end of the event, you will receive the rewards assigned to the league you end up in.
