Chapter XI - Settlement Buildings
Spring Grove
The Spring Grove is the heart of the Halfling chapter. It serves not only as the Portal through which the Halflings return to your city, but also as their main storage and the source of the production boost applied to all Halfling buildings.
As with any other Portal, the Spring Grove must be connected to your Main Hall with a regular street to function properly. However, connecting it to the Halfling Farms and Grain Fields requires a special type of road: the Irrigation Canal.
From the moment it is built, the Spring Grove becomes your central hub for managing Halfling production. It stores all goods produced by the Farms and Fields, but with a special caveat: three important goods—Tingle Bread, Savvy Soup, and Jolly Jelly—have limited storage capacity. You can check these values and your overall stock by clicking on the building, which opens the inventory window for Halfling resources.
If the storage of any of these capped goods is full, a red bar will appear under the respective icon. At that point, you’ll need to spend, discard, or make room by upgrading the Spring Grove in order to continue producing.Even if you sell the Spring Grove, you won’t lose the Halfling resources already stored. However, it’s recommended to keep the building until all chapter-related quests are completed.Upgrading the Spring Grove not only increases the storage capacity for the capped goods, but also enhances the production efficiency of all Halfling-related buildings — making your entire system run more smoothly.
Halfling Farm
At the core of every Halfling’s identity is farming — and the Halfling Farm brings that spirit into your city. This is the building where most of the crafting happens. Here, your Halfling Farm produces:Magic Fertilizer, used to keep the Grain Fields activeTingle Bread, Savvy Soup, and Jolly Jelly, which are essential to progress in the Research TreeMany of these ingredients are gathered from Grain Fields, which means your Farms and Fields work hand-in-hand.
When production is active, you can monitor progress in real time. A green arrow on the product icon indicates that your production is boosted by the Spring Grove’s current bonus.Once finished, the production must be manually collected and will be stored in the Spring Grove. If the storage is full for one of the capped goods, the production icon will appear greyed out.You can choose to spend, store, or even cancel a production in progress to free up space and optimize your workflow.Like other buildings, the Halfling Farm can be upgraded, rebuilt, or sold. Upgrading improves production efficiency by increasing the amount of goods produced per cycle.
Grain Field

The Grain Field is a special kind of building that works differently from traditional production structures in Elvenar. These fields produce passively— meaning that you will not need to start production manually or input resources. Once built, the Grain Field will automatically generate one type of crop over time, which you can collect by simply clicking on the building.
What makes the Grain Field unique is that each level determines the type of resource it produces:Level 1 → GrainLevel 2 → CarrotsLevel 3 → PumpkinsLevel 4 → Apples
To change the resource being produced, you need to upgrade the Field. This doesn’t increase output, but instead switches the crop to the next type. Because different goods are needed for different recipes in the Halfling Farm, strategic planning is required to have the right resources available at the right time.Fields do not need streets or Irrigation Canals, but they must be placed adjacent to a Halfling Farm to function.
As with other buildings, production is collected manually, and a matching icon will appear on top of the building when a crop is ready.
