The Tangled Prophecy

Introduction

As autumn's golden days dwindle across Elvenar, the legendary Yule Cat arrives to oversee the season's most crucial test—will communities prove worthy of a gentle winter through proper celebration and preparation?

This curious feline guardian wanders between villages, observing harvest festivities with keen interest. He watches dancers preserve memories at the Harvest Memory Theatre, judges the quality of golden Nectar brewed by Trolls at cozy lodges, and ensures that ribbon-weavers achieve perfect balance in their autumn ceremonies.

The Yule Cat believes that communities that celebrate together survive winter's isolation better. Those who share stories, craft warming elixirs, and participate in seasonal rituals earn his approval—and with it, the promise of mild weather and abundant stores.

His standards are peculiar but consistent. He expects harvest memories to be preserved through proper dance, demands that Nectar recipes remain secret yet generous, and insists that ribbon ceremonies maintain a perfect color balance. Most surprisingly, he approves of the Trolls' lazy approach, recognizing that strategic rest can be as valuable as frantic activity.

Villages that pass his autumn inspection enjoy warm hearths and full pantries through winter. Those who fail face cold winds and dwindling supplies until they learn the true meaning of community preparation.

Quest & Quest Milestones

As in previous events, the questline consists of a story section and additional episodic quests, which start as soon as the story is completed. This means that you will be able to finish the first series of quests right away, while later quests have new additions released on a daily basis, allowing you to continue to play one additional event quest on each new event day. Solving event quests also comes with additional benefits, as each completed quest brings you closer to reaching one of the Milestones, which gives you additional rewards simply for reaching them.


Event Menu

Each completed quest will give you Golden Spools as a reward. These Spools are automatically added to the Event Menu. With the Spools, you can open different Chests to win unique and precious rewards, including changing Daily Prizes! The Chests also contain Chalk Markings/Patches, which you will need to unlock Grand Prizes by completing the Patchwork Quilt.

By clicking the Event Menu icon, you will access the Event Window, which will give you plenty of information and allow you to put the Golden Spools you gathered to use:

  1. Indicates the remaining time for the Event.
  2. Shows you the amount of Golden Spools 4685e45a18b5e1e2251bf95b34ba8f25you have collected and not yet spent.
  3. Allows you to buy Golden Spools with Diamonds.
  4. Leagues: Allows you to see your progress through the Leagues (please check the bottom of the page for more information)
  5. Patchwork Quilt 56fec613920d6574d10fbdc03d28fcec: As you collect Golden Spools, you will add a Chalk Marking/Twinkle Patch to the Patchwork Quilt and, once the entire Quilt is lit, the Grand Prize is unlocked. You can tell from the Patchwork Quilt progress how many Twinkle Patches are still missing to achieve the reward.
  6. Grand Prizes to be won by collecting 20 Twinkle Patches for each. Grand prizes and Royal Prizes need to be collected manually in the Royal Prize Pass.
  7. Your progress towards the Grand Prize
  8. Opens the window of the Grand Prizes and Royal Prize: you can collect the Prizes unlocked and see what the next rewards will be!
  9. Chests: On which you can spend your Golden Spools to win a reward and obtain
  10.  Shows how many Golden Spools are needed and how many Twinkle Patches you receive with each Chest.
  11. Shows you the Daily Exclusive reward you can get from opening the Chests, and for how long it will be available before it is gone.
  12. Reroll Bonus: Every time you collect 5 Twinkle Patches, you can change the Daily Reward.

Golden Spools

You start The Tangled Prophecy Event with 50 Golden Spools, and each Event Quest will give you more as a reward for completing the given tasks. Every day you play during the Event, you will receive a Daily login reward of 35 Golden Spools.

From time to time, you will find more Golden Spools around the outskirts of your city for you to collect.049134fa87b4cc32c9c8f9f7ce157074

You can then use the Golden Spools to open one of the Chests, which, depending on your luck, may also give you more Golden Spools. Remember that The Tangled Prophecy Event only lasts for a few weeks, and after that, you will no longer be able to use your Golden Spools to get awesome rewards, so don't waste time!

Chests

You will be presented with 9 different Chests to choose from! Each one gives you a chance to win the Daily Exclusive reward. Other rewards include Ancient Knowledge, Coin Rain, Supply Windfall, Unit Instants, Portal Profit, Rune Shards, and even more Golden Spools. It all depends on which Chest you choose and how lucky you are!

By opening the Chests, you will also get Twinkle Patches. Remember: Each Chest will offer a different amount of Twinkle Patches for your Golden Spools, so choose carefully. Once you have opened a Chest, the remaining Chests will be replaced with a new selection.

Twinkle Patches

When you unlock a Chest, you will also win an amount of Twinkle Patches. Each Chest will immediately give you a specific amount indicated in the top left. Collecting the Twinkle Patches allows you to complete the Patchwork Quilt and unlock Grand Prizes! Each Patchwork Quilt requires 20 Chalk Markings/Twinkle Patches to complete.

After collecting the Daily Exclusive rewards and Grand Prizes, you will find them in your Inventory
Please note: All building values and effects depend on the chapter you are in at the time you add the buildings to your Inventory.

Patchwork Quilt

When you open a Chest, you add Chalk Markings/Twinkle Patches to the Patchwork Quilt. The Patchwork Quilt shows your progress towards the goal of the Grand Prize. This gives you a good indication of how many Twinkle Patches are still needed until you get the next reward.
