How does the pity mechanic work?

The pity mechanic relates to receiving Heroes from the Time Portal by using Antimatter.
When reaching the threshold of the pity mechanic without receiving any 5 star hero, you will be guaranteed to receive a 5 star hero from the Time Portal on your next attempt. If you receive a 5 star hero before you reach the threshold, this counter will be reset again.
Be aware that every category of the Time Portal (for example regular, legendary and weekly culture city event) have separated pity mechanics.
