Do I need to complete quests/campaign battles before I can move to the next era?

No. You can continue to the next era without completing all questlines or campaign battles related to your current era.


To complete certain technologies, you may need research materials, such asJasper andMinoan Frescoes in the Minoan Era, that can only be gained from campaign battles related to that era.

We advise progressing through the Campaign Map to unlock new research materials and avoid getting stuck in the research tree. Once you win an encounter with a 3-star score, meaning all your Heroes survive, you will be able to use Auto Battle for that encounter, making it an easy source of the resources you need.
