What are the differences between resources, goods, and items?

Resources are what can be collected by the Gatherers on your island. These include, for example: Water, Grass, Tree Resin, and Herbs.

Goods are produced by the various specialists, such as the Boy Scout. Specialists turn resources into goods. As an example, the Boy Scout uses Fish (resource) to produce Fish Jerky (goods).

Items are required for various actions across the Camp, such as upgrading your Storage, or clearing the overgrown jungle at the edges of your Camp. They are typically obtained via Expeditions on the World Map, but can sometimes also be found via the Cartographer.
