What are the different roles within a Team?

A Team Member can have either of a total of four roles:

  • The Trainee is the default rank for anyone joining an existing Team. Team Members with this rank have access to all of the Teams features, but have no special privileges within the Team itself.
  • The Adventurer has some privileges, in that they are able to invite new Members into the Team. This is only possible with Teams that are not public. Currently, all Teams are public, and therefore the Trainee and Adventurer rank are equal in practice.
  • The Co-Leader, in addition to the privileges of the Adventurer, has the option to update a Team's profile. They can adjust the name, description, tags, and more. A Co-Leader can also assign other Team Members to ranks up to and including Co-Leader.
  • Finally, the Leader of a Team has all of the privileges of the Co-Leader, with one addition: The Leader is the only person in a Team who can promote another Member to the rank of Leader. However, there can only be one Leader per Team, and once a Leader promotes someone else, they are demoted to a Co-Leader in the process. Only the new Leader could undo this action by promoting the now Co-Leader back to their old position.
To clarify what is mentioned above: Leader is the only role that has a limitation in terms of how many can hold it, which is just one. The other roles have no limitations, so you can make everyone in your Team co-leader if you wish.
