How does the Treasure Hunt ranking work?
Every week, the game will
group your alliance with other several alliances, to form a group ranking for that week:
Alliances are grouped together based on two factors; their size and their performance in the last three Treasure Hunt rounds. The alliance size plays the main role, and the performance is used as a secondary factor to further determine the grouping.
The match-up may (but does not have to) change every week. This means that the
alliances will not necessarily be identical in size. It's completely normal, in particular when there are very few alliances of the same size in the given game world.
The total number of completed encounters, up to the value indicated as "Max.", as compared to the other alliances in the Treasure Hunt group ranking will correspond with your alliance rank at the end of the Treasure Hunt. In case more than one alliance solves the maximum number of encounters, the alliance that reached that number earlier will be ranked higher.
The "Max." value is the number the smallest alliance in the group can possibly reach. This means that larger alliances may still have some advantage, but smaller ones are not losing by default.
Additional solved encounters, above the "Max." value, are not taken into account for the purpose of determining the group ranking of the Treasure Hunt round.
