The game says I am using the same internet connection as another player that I do not know

The game uses several mechanisms to block actions from players on the same connection. In some cases, such as mobile data, university networks, free WiFi, or VPNs, you may share the same IP address with other players in-game, even if you don’t know them personally. As a result, the game will treat both of you as using the same internet connection, restricting specific actions like sending commands or resources to the same target. The duration and extent of these restrictions depend on the game settings.

If you are using mobile data or a smaller (local) internet provider, unfortunately, we are unable to assist directly. Many such providers assign the same external IP address to multiple users simultaneously. You can contact your provider to discuss the possibility of obtaining a static IP address.

Tip: Restarting your router, modem, or mobile internet connection can sometimes resolve IP-related issues.

Please also note that using a VPN is technically prohibited under the game rules.
