The legendary King Arthur returns to Camelot after years of exile to find it under siege. The witch Morgan le Fay terrorizes the land, her fearsome red dragon burning villages from behind the protection of her magic mist. Thankfully, Arthur's trusted ally Merlin has never lost hope for the return of the king.
It is time to take up the king's mantle, protect the realm, and go on a quest to reforge the broken Excalibur, for only it can turn the tide and bring Camelot back to its former glory!
Experience the narrative-rich story for the first and ONLY time:

You've got one chance to play this particular story to the very end and find out what really happened between King Arthur and Morgan le Fay, as we will not repeat it again.
Pro tip: turn on animations and sound for an even more vivid experience.
And now, let's talk mechanics:
Mini-game: break the siege
First thing you need is the main Event resource – the Royal Favor. Complete Event quests to collect it and apply your kingly will to breaking Morgan's siege and neutralizing her dragon.
Your main battlefield is a board consisting of 16 villages. Spend 10 Royal Favor to visit a village until the mini-game is Shuffled and reset or all villages are attended to.
For each visited village, you will receive Grand Prize progress points and a random reward OR a special item that will influence the board:
- Reveal Two to show hidden rewards
- x2 to double your winnings
- or Shuffle to reset the board and start the mini-game anew
Some rewards are special. Be on the lookout for Merlin's Grimoires.
Once you collect one, it will be sent to a Piggy Bank of additional rewards you can claim for an extra Diamond investment. During collection, Merlin's Grimoires will present a choice:
- Pick one reward for free.
- Spend Diamonds to select both rewards.
- Re-roll for Diamonds, if neither of the rewards suit you.
Once the Piggy Bank is full, open it to receive additional rewards, including Dragonsteel Shards needed to reforge Excalibur and the unique Merlin's Council building.

Tip: Try to max out your Piggy Bank before redeeming it! The fuller it is, the better your deal on Diamonds to claim it. |
You can also find Item Store currency on both boards: Camelot Coins on the regular AND Super Boards, and Pendragon Coins just on Super Boards. Check the end section of this guide for more details on Item Stores.
Super Board: secure Merlin's Seal
You can also find Merlin's Seals when visiting villages board. You need three for a powerful incantation that opens passage to mystical Avalon. Once you collect them, the next board you start will be a Super Board.
Watch as Merlin's Seals expose the dragon from behind the magic mist, taking it down to the ground. In this state, visiting villages will unleash powerful hits on the dragon, causing it to fly away to lick its wounds once you complete the Super Board.
For this valorous defense, you will get increased rewards, more special tiles like x2 and Reveal Two, and NO Shuffle to make sure your every move - and reward - count.
Boosters: all the help you can get
To help you sustain Morgan's attacks, you have three powerful boosters at your disposal, each granted by your magical allies.
| Merlin’s All-Seeing Eye: This booster reveals the exact locations of any special rewards (like Shuffle, Show Two, or Double Payout) currently hidden in the board. Use it to avoid an unwanted Shuffle if you're trying to visit all the villages, or to snipe the best multipliers! | |
| Lady of the Lake Blessing: Channel the magic of the lake to double the rewards of the very next village you visit, while instantly revealing the contents of two additional villages. Combine this with other special rewards on the board to haul in a massive amount of treasure! | |
| Mists of Avalon: This booster produces magic fog, instantly hiding villages that contain basic filler rewards or the Shuffle. (Don't worry, the mists don't affect valuable rewards like Show Two, Double Payout, Camelot Coins, Pendragon Coins, Dragonsteel Ingots, or Merlin's Seals).
Take note: Hidden villages will not grant you their rewards, but getting them out of the way drastically increases your chances of finding the true treasures left behind! |

Excalibur: reforge the legend
Despite your best efforts and magic boosters, Morgan's mist will heal the dragon, and it will be back to terrorize the realm, until the King can recover his main source of power – Excalibur. The legendary sword was broken after Mogran's betrayal of the King, orchestrated to weaken him - or so it seemed at the time...
You must reforge Excalibur to turn the tide of the battle! Open the corresponding menu to keep track of your quest.
A new furnace will become available every day of the Event, ready to melt the Dragonsteel to bring the legend back to life.
- Collect Dragonsteel Ingots & Shards: As you aid the villages, keep an eye out for Dragonsteel Ingots and Dragonsteel Shards. Ingots can be contributed to reforging the sword as is, and you'll need to collect 5 Shards to make an Ingot. Once a full Ingot is available, use it in an open furnace to contribute to the sword progress and receive a reward.
- Admire your progress: As you contribute more and more Ingots, watch the broken blade visually transform into a completed sword with the first milestone, and finally into the almighty Avalon-blessed Excalibur.
- Find out the true story: You need at least 10 days to reach the first milestone and bring the sword back together. One of the rewards for this glorious achievement is a new, exclusive questline. Play through it all to reach Excalibur's final form and find out the true story behind the betrayal of Arthur and his exile.
Second phase: a realm transformed
Your heroic deeds have a tangible impact on the kingdom! When you reach the first Calendar milestone and reforge Excalibur, a shift will occur: both the normal and Super Boards will visually transform from a Terrorized Realm cursed by Morgan le Fay into a Restored Realm of peace and prosperity. Camelot will reclaim its glory, and the remainder of your Event will be played in this triumphant new state.
The dragon fire will give way to magic protective spheres over the same villages. Uncover each to lift the protection and celebrate villages you freed from Morgan's terror, continuing to enjoy rewards and Grand Prize progress points.
And since you Restore the Realm already mid-way into your Calendar progress, continue to press on and embolden Excalibur with Avalon's true blessing. Once you complete the Calendar, you'll be rewarded with the True King's Excalibur building to preserve the legend in your City forever.
Item Store: choose extra rewards
Every step of the way, as you defend villages in the Terrorized Realm, or celebrate them in the Restored one, you will collect additional special currency intended for the King Arthur's Item Stores.
Camelot Market
Come with Camelot Coins, commonly found while visiting villages of your kingdom. This section of the store offers common rewards, namely the beloved buildings from previous Summer Event editions.
Pendragon Hoard
To get your hands on true dragon treasures, the rarest in the realm, you'll need coins that are just as hard to find – Pendragon Coins. Collect enough and select from the great Hoard, including exclusives like high-level Camelot upgrades, Historical Allies, boosters, and avatars!
