Great Buildings Prestige: Contribution
Contribution rewards
With level 500 as the new goal, contribution rewards needed a closer look. Some of you with a sharp eye for numbers already noticed that the current system falls flat around level 300 cause that's where the costs start outpacing the rewards. We wanted to find a solution for that to keep your investments satisfying and this long-standing social dynamic going.
Now, the reward is a fixed percentage of what the level costs. If a level costs a certain number of Forge Points, a set share of that goes back to the contributors. The share depends on the Great Building's level:

The percentage drops as levels go up, but level costs climb much faster, so the total reward still grows with every band. Contributing to a high level always pays more than contributing to a low one. And since it's a fixed share of a known cost, you can work out exactly what a spot is worth before you commit.
Note: The number of Blueprints you get from contribution rewards is reduced by around 60% to balance out the more efficient FP rewards and keep Blueprints a rare resource. Medal amounts don't change.
Gold levels now reward 7 contributor places, while Copper levels keep 5. The total reward pot stays the same, it's just split more ways, so more people get something out of each level-up. Places are still ranked by total Forge Points contributed, and first place still takes the clear majority.

Within this change, due to changed approach to the calculation of Contribution Rewards, Forge Points are no longer rounded to the nearest 5. You may see a variety of different Contribution Rewards values, starting from 2, 4 and every next integer number.
Note: As there is no possibility to give out a 3 Forge Points in Packages, while you may see a 2+1 Contribution Reward due to Contribution Boost, in such cases you will stil receive only 2 Forge Points in one Small Forge Points Package.
Contribution Boosts
As you may have noticed in the new Gold effect bonuses, with the Prestige Update we have introduced a Gold Contribution Boost. That being said, the Copper-TIer Arc's Contribution Boost will be renamed to Basic Contribution Boost and will be applied to Copper Tier Great Buildings. Meaning, you will receive the Arc contribution bonus only as long as you donate to Great Buildings up to level 101 or you donate to Copper-only Great Buildings. The reason for this change being that the new Tiers employ a slightly different leveling system, meaning they require extra Blueprints, Goods, and overall are supposed to represent a more challenging, long-term goal.
The new Gold Contribution Boost introduced with Prestige update will work only for contribution to Gold Tier Great Buildings. It will work anywhere the Basic Contribution Boost doesn't applies - meaning, on Great Buildings that received Gold Tiers and are already on levels 101 or higher.
You can find the Contribution Boost in:
- The Arc Gold Tier - up to 40% in the first 500 levels.
- Shattered Horizon Siphon Gold Tier - up to 50% in the first 500 levels.
- Stellar Age: Discovery technologies - up to 10% (3% in the Space Hub Goods Synthesizing I technology; 3% in the Coordinated Framework technology; 4% in The Secure Containment Directive technology).
As always, the best way to find out, what the Contribution Reward output is to check it inside the game. Simply hover over the Contribution Reward icon (or click on it on mobile) to see the Base reward values and next to it you will see the Contribution Boost that is applied to it:

You don't see any additional rewards coming from Contribution Boost? It means, you do not have any Contribution Boost that will increase the rewards for you:
Updated Interface
You can easily view information about Tiers by visiting a Great Building. In the Overview and Level Up tabs, Tiers are marked with a new ribbon and feature new corresponding color Blueprints (more on them below). In the Overview, these bonuses are marked with an extra frame around the value as well, and the effects that do not have a frame belong to the Copper Tier. To avoid clutter, this window doesn't show effects that have stopped growing, but you can still see them in the detailed view described below.
Click the symbol in the top-left corner to open an even more detailed view for your planning. It shows when each effect was unlocked, as well as how many levels you've unlocked versus built.
Go to Blueprints to see the required resources. On the Gold Tier, you need Coins, Supplies, Medals, Goods (from the Great Building's Age), Copper Blueprints, and Gold Blueprints. Higher levels require a substantial amount of resources, so make sure to scroll down to see the full list. We've also simplified this view to make it easier to manage.

The screenshot above shows the Arc with level 200 unlocked. Use the arrows on both sides of the grid to switch between your Copper and Gold Blueprints; each kind has a frame in its Tier's color. As usual, this window shows the building's upgrade costs and lets you unlock the next level.
In addition to these windows, you will also see Gold Tier symbol

featured all across the game in Great Buildings tooltips, rankings, and donation lists.

All your existing Blueprints are now Copper Blueprints. To level up within the Gold Tier, you'll also need the new Gold Blueprints. From the Blueprints window, you can:
- Trade your extra Blueprints of the same Tier at the 2:1 rate.
- NEW: open the Blueprint Refinery to turn Copper Blueprints and Goods into Gold Blueprints
There are more ways to get new Blueprints, so make sure to check the next section for the details.
The Information tab now gives a full overview of your potential goals, showing you current and future Tiers. Much like with GBs in the past, you will only see the closest available bonus value. Remember: it is only a starting point, and the bonuses will grow over time as you move from one level and Tier to another.

Multiplicative Boost
New Multiplicative Boosts for the battle stats introduced in this update changed a little the way we display the boosts in the Town Hall Overview window.
Multiplicative boosts are displayed in the first places of the corresponding Boost with a gray-white background. Also, the overall boost on hover (or tap on mobile) will now display the Boost before the multiplicative boost is applied and the value of multiplicative boost that is applied there.
