Update to version 1.275
We will release
version 1.275 on
Monday, 29th of January on the
International market and on all
other markets on
Wednesday, 31st of January.
There will be a short downtime during the update. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this time. In this update we are implementing technical improvements, bug fixes and adding content for future events. You can find highlights of these changes down below.
Changes- FOE-78934: We've fine-tuned the
aid order of buildings to create a smoother and more strategic experience. Our new tiered system prioritizes buildings within their respective groups based on their level — the higher the level, the higher the priority. Keep in mind that the assignment of buildings to different groups may evolve over time.
Currently, the buildings are classified into five distinct groups:- Limited, league, or ranking buildings, like the Tower of Champions and Trailside Smithy, receive top priority.
- Powerful or generated buildings such as the Key Master's Workshop, Feta Farm, and Jester's Stage come next in line.
- Main event buildings and daily special buildings, including the Tower of Conjunction, Laboratory of Monstrosities or Tower of Whispering Horrors, follow suit.
- Older, less impactful buildings, like the Stage of Ages, Pergola, and Golden Crops, are placed further down the queue.
- Buildings that cannot produce generic rewards, such as fragments (e.g., Athlon Abbey, House of Horrors), adhere to the original aid priority system.
- FOE-79923: In
Guild Battlegrounds, we're upping the stakes! From now on, only victories in the Diamond League will contribute to your position in the ranking. Victories in lower leagues will no longer have an impact on your rank, raising the bar for competitive play and rewarding top-tier success.
Improvements- FOE-80406, FOE-77473: Have you ever found it frustrating when you
can't read the entire text because it's cut off? We understand that pain, especially when it pertains to rewards from buildings where you want all the details. To enhance your experience, we've implemented
automatic scrolling for texts that are too long! This clever feature ensures that you will be able to see all the information in due time. And that's not all – we've also rolled out this improvement for the
Antiques Dealer's exchange list, so you won't miss out on any trade opportunities.
BugfixesQuests:- FOE-80219: We've resolved an issue where players could inadvertently lose their
Story Quest early in the game. Rest assured, you should now be able to continue your Story Quest in the Iron Age without any unexpected interruptions.
Research:- FOE-79728: The
Oceanic Future appeared to be missing some units and buildings in the
age summary view. We've rectified this oversight and included the missing visuals. Your Oceanic Future summary should now be complete with all its promised wonders.
Resources:- FOE-80383: The
Magic Winter Snow Globe was mistakenly showing a goods icon in its tooltip, despite not producing goods. We've cleaned up this confusion and updated the tooltip to properly display Forge Points instead.
- FOE-80216:
Forge Point Packages were not getting along in the
Multi Reward Window, standing aloof instead of stacking together. We've encouraged them to be more sociable, and now they'll stack neatly as intended.
- FOE-78877: Some buildings providing Forge Points as a
random production were not benefiting from the
Forge Point Boost correctly. We've fixed this, ensuring boosts apply as they should. Additionally, these Forge Points could be collected regardless of the capacity of your bar, which will no longer be the case.
Boosts:- FOE-80291: The
Autumn Vineyard is designed to advance to the next age along with you, but its
army stats weren't updating to reflect this change. We've made sure it now promptly updates its stats, keeping its performance in line with your age progression.
Avatars:- FOE-80430: Observant players pointed out a discrepancy with the
names of the avatars from the Wildlife Event — they didn't match our announcement. We've corrected the names in the game to align with what was announced, so now everything is as it should be.
Mobile Only ChangesKeep in mind that the time the mobile update becomes available depends on the stores and can be some days after the release of the browser version. Don't be surprised if you don't see the update on your mobile devices at the exact same time.
- FOE-80079: Experiencing ads when you paid not to? That was happening to some iOS users who bought the
"No Ads" subscription. We've ironed out the kinks, and now, as promised, ads will be consistently and correctly removed for subscribers.
- FOE-80289:
Upgrading buildings in rapid succession had the unintended consequence of potentially plunging your city's
population into the negatives due to increased population demands. We've addressed this, preventing the possibility of negative population figures going forward. If your city is still facing a population deficit, try reorganizing by storing or deleting buildings that require population, or reach out to our support team for assistance if the issue persists.
