Update to version 1.281

We will release version 1.281 on Monday, 22nd of April on the International market and on all other markets on Wednesday, 24th of April. There will be a short downtime during the update. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this time.

In this update, we are implementing technical improvements, bug fixes, and adding content for future events. You can find highlights of these changes below.

Changes

  • FOE-81764: We exchanged the assets for the Quantum Incursion Difficulty chests. Previously, they were identical to the Guild Battlegrounds reward chests.
  • FOE-81607: We adjusted Quests that autocomplete:
    • Guild Expedition related quests will no longer complete when you're currently unable to participate. This change is particularly crucial for Bronze Age players and those who have recently switched guilds.
    • Quests requiring actions in Guild Expeditions will now only autocomplete after all possible encounters have been resolved. Previously, they would autocomplete once level 4 was finished.
    • Adjustments have been made to the balancing of quests and rewards, especially concerning Rival Challenges, to accommodate for these changes.
  • The terms "Attacker Boost" and "Defender Boost" have been renamed to "Attack and Defense for Attacking Army" and "Attack and Defense for Defending Army" for clarity. This update was already implemented in the last version.

Bugfixes

Buildings
  • FOE-81685, FOE-81728: We resolved an issue where the updated Settlement buildings would not get aided automatically for some players. Your buildings will now get aided again!
  • FOE-81640: Selling a building that was in the middle of producing items requiring resources and was disconnected from roads resulted in players only receiving resources for the first production option. Now, you will receive the resources back for the option you initially chose.
Antiques Dealer
  • FOE-81378: We fixed the issue where the text for Trade Coins would not fit into its cell for some languages. It now fits properly!
  • Inventory
  • FOE-81400: There was an issue in the Inventory where the Fragment window text was cropped. The full text is now visible. This issue was fixed in the last update for the mobile app.
Quantum Incursions
  • FOE-81483: Unlocking multiple rewards in the pass will no longer trigger an internal error preventing you from collecting all rewards. Previously, it required making at least one more progression to resolve.
  • FOE-81577: During 2 wave battles, the second wave incorrectly displayed a duplicate of the first one. Now, the correct units you will be facing are displayed.

Mobile Only Changes

Keep in mind that the time the mobile update becomes available depends on the stores and can be some days after the release of the browser version. Don't be surprised if you don't see the update on your mobile devices at the exact same time. 

Quests
  • FOE-81261: An issue where new quests would not automatically appear has been resolved. You no longer need to reopen the Quest Overview to see your new quest!
Quantum Incursions
  • FOE-81535: We've fixed the problem where the remaining time incorrectly wrapped to the next line for some languages. It will now be displayed on a single line.
  • FOE-81489: The Quantum Incursions banner incorrectly showed a remaining time of 7 days to start at 8 AM. This has been corrected to display a message indicating that it will start soon.
