If you're still working on upgrading earlier Championship buildings, do not fret. As always, we've made them available in the new
QI 2026 Middle Ages Epic Selection Kit. This Kit contains:
- Level 1 Neo Clocktower and Neo Menagerie buildings
- Upgrade Kits for Neo Clocktower and Neo Menagerie
Consequently, we have removed the old Selection Kit and Fragments of Neo Clocktower and Neo Menagerie from the reward pools. However all of these buildings are available on the QI Store, at a discounted rate to account for their older age.
Balancing Changes
To preface this section, we'd like to share our reasoning behind the changes.
As you may know from our previous announcements about testing and updates, we rely on both feedback and data in our decision-making, with data providing a fuller picture since it encompasses all players. While we wish we could access such gameplay data following the Beta testing phrase, unfortunately, the population of active players on the server doesn't allow for that. In such cases, we use the Live phase as well to gather enough data and feedback to inform the next feature changes.
Based on information and feedback from Beta and first Live Championship, we we've developed a series of measures aimed to adjust the pacing of the Settlement, the speed of obtaining expansions, and certain rewards distribution. One of our primary wishes with these changes is to ensure the intended pacing of developing the Quantum Settlement and facilitate the use of more available buildings, rather than focus on only one aspect of the Settlement. In addition, the newly acquired data has allowed us to tweak the balancing of Lunar Coins to better correspond to the overall pace and economy of the entire game.

Changes to Buildings
Cultural
Both from your feedback and our analysis, we saw that some Cultural buildings received more love than others (specifically Gallows and Pillory) which could limit the Settlement development to only a small selection of buildings. With this change, we aim to make other buildings more relevant and useful, which is aided also by adding the Quantum Actions capacity to them.

Goods
We've also adjusted the cost of Goods buildings to correspond to High Middle Ages Military buildings. As Goods provide expansions, this change is also aimed at stabilizing the pace of Settlement development and matching it to the intended speed.

Changes to Lunar Coin Rewards
We've reduced the number of Lunar Coins given out as node rewards by 10-20%. While we understand the decrease in rewards can be unpleasant, we'd like to highlight that with this change we aim to stabilize the pace of acquiring QI rewards, thus ensuring they can stay relevant for longer.
