Update to version 1.338

We will release version 1.338 on Monday, 29th June on the International server and on all other servers on Wednesday, 1st July. There will be a very short downtime during the update.

Changes & Improvements

Fist game experience
  • FOE-93795: Various technical and visual improvements to the Ice Age Tutorial.
  • FOE-95551: Reduced scouting time in the second province of the Bronze Age.
Misc.
  • FOE-95748: Holding the Shift key now allows you to move faster around your city using WASD or arrow keys.

Bugfixes

King Arthur's Return Event
  • FOE-95700: After reforging Excalibur, it is no longer possible to visit multiple Villages, as this could cause an error and reload the game.
  • FOE-95560: The game screen could sometimes jitter in the Merlin's Grimoires and Excalibur windows. This issue has been fixed.
  • FOE-95701: Pressing the Spacebar after opening the Event window could break the game connection. The connection is now preserved correctly.
Inventory
  • FOE-95562: Assembling an item that consumes all fragments could break the Inventory layout. This should no longer occur.
Build menu
  • FOE-95630: The Build menu no longer keeps blinking when no new items are available. It will now only blink when new buildings are unlocked.

Mobile-only Changes

Keep in mind that the time the mobile update becomes available depends on the stores and can be some days after the release of the browser version. Don't be surprised if you don't see the update on your mobile devices at the exact same time.

Performance:
  • FOE-95448: Improved game stability.
PvP Arena
  • FOE-94860: Removing a unit from the PvP Arena defensive army could cause an Internal Error. This issue has been fixed.
King Arthur's Return Event
  • FOE-95461: The app icon has been updated to match the event theme. This change was already included in version 1.336.18 of the app. If you like the image, you can see it in the full size here.
