The nights are drawing in, the fog arrives a little earlier every evening, and out past the treeline something has started turning again. The Halloween Event is back, and so is the Wheel of Misfortune: a spinning board of prizes that gives up nothing unless somebody throws for it. This year the shop splits in two, the haunted castle at the heart of it all grows through eleven levels, and your neighbors are standing at the very same wheel, eyeing the very same rewards.

And remember, the night belongs to whoever throws first - steady your hand and step into the haunt!

  • Two separate Item Stores instead of one. Your Bat Tokens and your Cat Charms now have their own counters providing more options to choose from!
  • A returning favorite gets two more levels. The Eerie Thrill Coaster from Halloween 2024 comes back with new upgrades!

The first time you open the event screen, a short interactive tutorial walks you through the basics - just click or tap to move through it. Need a reminder later? The Replay Tutorial button is there whenever you want to run through it again.

Work through the Event quests and your Daily Tasks to earn Halloween Tickets - they buy you a turn at the Wheel.

At the heart of the event sits the Wheel of Misfortune, a board hung with prizes that you claim by throwing Knives at them - every throw costs Tickets, and every Knife that lands hands you whatever reward was in that slot.
Every reward on the Wheel is ringed in a color, and the border tells you how scarce it is:

Green Common 5 reward slots, each can be claimed max. 4 times
Silver Rare 3 reward slots, each can be claimed max. 2 times
Gold Very Rare Only once per Wheel

Before you throw, there's one thing you need to know: you and everyone in your neighborhood are looking at the same Wheel.
  • Everyone sees the same prize board.
  • If a neighbor claims a prize, it disappears from your board too.
  • If a neighbor refreshes the Wheel, the whole board changes for everyone, instantly.
So if you spot something you want, don't sit on it. It may not be there when you come back!

Open the event screen and the current Wheel is in front of you. From here you can do one of two things.

Throw knives. Use Halloween Tickets to throw one or more knives at the board. Each knife lands on a random slot, giving you its reward and Grand Prize progress. Slots can also contain Bat Tokens, Cat Charms, or extra Halloween Tickets.

Tip: you don't get to aim at a specific prize, it's random. But the fewer prizes left on the Wheel, the better your odds of hitting something good.

Refresh the Wheel. Don't like the current rewards? Refresh the Wheel to get a new set! Your Knives will automatically land on the new Wheel upon refresh.
  
Tip: if a gold-bordered prize turns up on a fresh Wheel, move fast. Your neighbors are looking at it too!

Multiple Throws. You aren't limited to one knife at a time: throw 1, 3, or 5 at once to earn bonus Grand Prize progress and get a reward for every knife thrown! And if you hit a prize that’s already been won by another player or already claimed by you, your knife will land on a different remaining prize.

Important! if too few prizes are left on the board for all your knives, the Wheel refreshes automatically and your knives land on the new one.

The event shop is split in two this year, and each half takes a different currency.



3f2670e5e15ca05dc97939290ff7777e Bat Tokens: common event currency used in the Clown's Counter (Common Item Store) that you can earn from wheel slots and Daily Tasks. 
This Item Store will refresh automatically once a day. After that, you can refresh it once manually, and more times for an increasing fee of Bat Tokens. With every refresh, the purchase limits and discounts will be updated. 
52bea8f1b93ae1d7a505927fe548263e Cat Charms: rare event currency, and the wheel is the only place they exist. Every Charm you pick up also grants bonus Grand Prize progress, and they buy the exclusive rewards at the Carnival's Cabinet (Rare Item Store). 
Two Item Stores give you even more control over which rewards you target during the event, so spend your currencies carefully and check back regularly!

Every day brings 6 Daily Tasks with different mini-game objectives. Keep in mind that once you finish the first 3 Daily Tasks, the rewards from the remaining 3 will be DOUBLED!

Important: Tasks reset daily and nothing carries over, so an unfinished sixth task is simply gone the next morning.

  • Throw at a thinned-out Wheel. Fewer slots left means better odds of hitting something worth having.
  • Grab Cat Charms the moment you see them. They're the only route to the Carnival's Cabinet, and a neighbor may be looking at the same slot.
  • Don't hoard refreshes. The manual store refresh cost climbs fast within a day, so use the free daily one deliberately.
  • Check the Clown's Counter after every refresh. A 40% discount on a kit you were saving for changes the math completely.
  • Clear all six Daily Tasks, every day. The double payout on tasks 4 to 6 is the single biggest steady source of Bat Tokens, and it does not wait for you.

Rewards

  • Lost Castle, the main event building, a 6x4 haunt that grows across 9 levels and then upgrades twice: to the Mystery Castle with a Silver Upgrade Kit, and to the Weeping Castle with a Golden one. The Weeping Castle also opens a Military Room for your Historical Allies.
  • Lycan Pavilion and Ascended Lycan Pavilion, the Silver Pass building.
  • Wraithrider Post and Ascended Wraithrider Post, the Golden Pass building.
  • Thornhollow Woods, a 4x6 reserved for the Gold League.
  • Sootkettle Corner and its Ascended form, earned through the Wheel and the Item Store.
  • Ectobrook Hollow, two levels, available only at the Carnival's Cabinet.
  • Eerie Thrill Coaster, back from Halloween 2024 with new Platinum levels to chase.
  • Two new Historical Allies: Jayavarman VII, the Khmer king who broke the Cham fleet on the Tonlé Sap and rebuilt his capital as Angkor Thom, and Indradevi, his chief queen, who taught at three monastic colleges and left the earliest known poem by a Khmer woman.
