New to Care for Tomorrow or just need a refresher? No problem! This step-by-step guide will walk you through the event basics and help you make the most of every move.

Step 1: Spawn, Merge, and Unlock the Board

Your event board is filled with colorful pieces—some are free to move, while others are locked behind glass.

Your main goal? Free and merge these pieces to earn rewards and build progress toward the Grand Prize! Here’s how it works:

Spawn a Piece:
Use the Spawner button to create a random piece. This costs Workers, which regenerate over time.
Match & Merge:
Take your new piece and merge it with a locked piece of the same type and level. This breaks the glass and upgrades the piece!
Keep Merging:
Each successful merge gives you:
- A small instant reward
- Progress toward your Grand Prize
- A step closer to board completion

Tip: Different piece types give different rewards. Use the Cheat Sheet below the board to see what’s what!

Step 2: Create Keys to Open Chests

Each locked piece may also hold part of a Key—either a top half or a bottom half.

To make a complete Key:

Merge two pieces of the same color and level, one with a top half and one with a bottom half.

When the Key is complete, send the piece to the Converter to remove it from the board and store the Key.

You can also earn extra Keys from Daily Challenges, so don’t miss those!

Step 3: Use Boosters for a Strategic Edge

Want to clear the board more efficiently? Earn and use Boosters to give yourself an advantage!

Boosters are unlocked through Rival Challenges, and here’s what they do:

	Cell Multiplier Instantly spawns a free piece—no Workers needed!
	Cell Divider Splits a piece into two of the level below. Key parts are retained, and you get more merging options.
	Rainbow Essence Turns all pieces of one color into colorless wildcards. These can merge with any color—but they can’t be used in the Converter, so plan ahead!

Tip: Boosters become available after you complete the tutorial and place your first piece on the board.

Step 4: Open Reward Chests

Once you’ve collected full Keys, it’s time to use them!

Spend Keys to open Chests with valuable items inside.
Each Chest gives you a chance to win the Daily Special, plus other great rewards.
Your first Chest of each day has a bonus multiplier - meaning you get the contents doubled, so choose wisely!

Step 5: Reset and Repeat

Your objective is to clear the board and collect as many rewards as you can.

Once you’ve unlocked all the pieces:

You’ll receive a Board Completion Reward
You can reset the board for free to continue playing

Feeling stuck or want a fresh start early?

You can refresh the board even with locked pieces left!
The first refresh each day is free
Later refreshes cost Event Currency
If you reset with many pieces still on the board, you’ll get bonus Keys as a consolation!
