Why is a hero’s supporting unit type important?
Each hero has a supporting unit type in addition to their class.
This is important for three reasons:
Supporting units appear with the hero. When you place a Cavalry-type hero in battle, Cavalry units will appear alongside them. When you place a Siege-type hero, a Siege unit will appear alongside them.

Barracks increase stats. The higher the level of your Heavy Infantry Barracks, the more ATK, DEF, and HP your Heavy Infantry heroes and their supporting units will have.

Abilities are trained in the corresponding Barracks.Ranged heroes need Ranged Barracks to train their abilities and become stronger in battle. You can train only one hero in each Barracks at a time, so choose wisely.

Note: Heroes have an elemental color used in the color advantage system, but their supporting units are always grey.
