Get Food for Leveling Up Heroes

Food is one of the most essential resources in your city, especially when leveling up your heroes. Whether you are preparing newly obtained heroes or strengthening your best characters, maintaining a steady supply of Food is key to making progress.

Where to Get Food

Farms

Farms are the main source of Food production. Upgrade them and keep production running to steadily increase your supply. Placing Cultural Sites nearby is especially important, as a strong culture boost can significantly increase their efficiency and may even double their production.

There are several types of Farms, each suited to different play styles and needs. Rural Farms are more effective for active players, while Domestic Farms offer larger storage capacity. Luxurious Farms provide boosted Food production.


Incidents

Keep an eye on your city for Incidents. Resolving some of these events can reward you with extra Food, along with other valuable resources.


Allied Cultures

You can receive Food as a reward for leveling up a specific Wonder in weekly Allied Culture event cities. Depending on your needs, you can wait before collecting these rewards. However, note that all unlocked but unclaimed rewards will be collected automatically once the event city ends.


Events

Progress through Seasonal Events and participate in sub-events to earn Food as an additional reward. These opportunities are often time-limited, but usually quite generous, so do not miss out!


Harbor Shops

You can spend special currencies, such as Chrono Crystals and Arena Medals, in Harbor Shops to purchase additional Food and other rewards. To open the Harbor Shops, tap the Harbor building in your main city.


Treasure Hunt

Last but not least, if you participate in the Treasure Hunt and are part of an Alliance, you can earn bonus Food from Alliance Checkpoint Chest rewards.

Why Food Matters

Food andExperience Points are the fundamental resources used to level up your heroes. Raising your heroes’ levels increases their ATK/DEF/HP, improving their overall combat power and making them more effective in battles.


A strong, well-fed team will help you progress through the campaign map, clear the Treasure Hunt, and achieve victory in the Arena.
