BackHow to reset a forgotten password
If you forgot your password, the reset process depends on whether you play on PC or on a mobile device.1. Open the official Heroes of History website.
(If you are logged in automatically, log out first or open the website in an incognito/private window.)
2. Select Forgot password?
3. Enter your email address and follow the instructions in the confirmation email.
1. Open the Heroes of History app on your mobile device.
(If the game starts from the beginning, complete the short tutorial first.)
2. Tap your avatar to open the settings, then select the Account tab.
3. Tap Log in with an existing account.
4. Select Password forgotten.
5. Enter your email address and follow the instructions in the confirmation email.
1. Contact our customer support team from the in-game Settings tab by using the Support button.
2. Share any details that may help us find your account, such as your player ID, nickname, alliance, or other information you remember.
3. After we find your account, we may ask for more details to confirm that you are the original owner.
3. Once ownership is confirmed, we will send you a recovery token.
4. Tap your avatar to open the settings, then select the Account tab.
5. Tap Recover account and enter the recovery token.
The recovery token is valid for 24 hours and can only be used once.
After confirming the recovery token, the game will log you back in with your original account. Once you have access again, please bind your email address or connect the account with Game Center or Google Play to help keep your access secure.
