About browser purchases

Rise of Cultures is available across platforms and so are our payment options.
While purchases are optional, if you decide to buy, you have the flexibility to do so either via the browser or the mobile app.

Browser purchases are official InnoGames purchases and provide a safe and legitimate way to buy in-game content. 
Payments are processed through our authorized payment partners, and your purchases are linked directly to your game account.

Why Might Browser Purchases Offer Better Value?

You may notice that the number of Gems you receive can differ depending on where you make your purchase.
When you buy something through a mobile app, the transaction is processed by the respective app store, which applies its own conditions and operational costs. When buying through the browser, purchases are processed directly by us. This can allow us to offer the same or even better value compared to purchases made through the app.

Buying through the browser offers you access to different payment methods. 
Available payment options vary by country, but may include:
  • Credit card
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay
...and others, depending on your region.

Are Browser Purchases Safe?

Yes. All InnoGames browser payments are:

  • Encrypted and secure. Payments are processed via HTTPS to protect your data during transmission
  • Handled by trusted providers. Payments are managed by certified partners that meet international security standards
  • Privacy-protected. Your payment data is never stored or visible to our team

Are Browser Purchases Safe?

To access the shop via browser, simply log in to the browser version of Rise of Cultures using a desktop computer or a laptop and go to the shop, as usual.

In case you have only ever played on mobile, you first need to make sure that your mobile-first account has an assigned email address and password, so you can log in using a computer browser.
This can be done in the settings screen of the game. In it, use the "Register Account" button and enter your email address.

Then, head to your computer and follow a link in the message we've sent you to set up a password. 

Now, you can play the game from both your mobile device and a computer! You can switch between mobile and browser at any time and your game progress stays synced.

In case there is no "Register Account" button in your settings screen, it means you've already set it up at an earlier point.
To access your account via browser, first check the beginning of your "player identifier". 
If it starts with "AM", go to https://am-play.riseofcultures.com/ in your computer's browser.
If it starts with "EU", to to https://eu-play.riseofcultures.com/ in your computer's browser.

There, you can login directly. In case you don't remember your password, select "Forgot Password” and follow the link in the email to reset it.
