What are Achievements and how to get them?

Achievements are distinctions awarded to you by the game for meeting certain criteria. The criterion can be reaching a particular level of points, a war-related accomplishment, or even just reaching a certain amount of friends. However, for some awards, you either have to have especially good or bad luck.

The available achievements may be different per world as some are only applicable to certain types of world settings. Additionally, some achievements only become available in later stages of the world.

To view the list of available achievements, click on Ranking on the top menu to view the rankings, then click on your own name to view your profile. The achievements will be listed on the bottom right of the page.

Some achievements allow you to track your progress towards meeting them. To do so, hover your mouse over the award image.
If you prefer to keep your achievements private, you can customize your privacy by going to Settings on the top menu, then Achievements on the left menu.

Levels
Some achievements are divided into different levels. A badge with a wooden frame is the lowest level that can be obtained, while gold is the highest level. In the achievements' ranking list, a gold frame is worth 4 points, a silver frame 3 points, a bronze frame 2 points, and a wooden frame 1 point. Daily achievements always receive a gold frame directly and are therefore also worth 4 points in the achievement ranking.
Daily achievements always receive a gold frame directly and therefore are also worth 4 points in the achievements' ranking list. Achievements without gradation only receive a wooden frame and are therefore only included in the achievement ranking list.

Important note: If a world account is completely deleted, the achievements are also deleted. This means that you have to earn all the achievements again when restarting. You will lose your achievements from older worlds also if you hide them before the world's end. After the closure, you won't be able to set them visible again.

Comparing Achievements
You can compare your achievements with another player's. Go to Profile > Achievements and in the upper right corner, fill in the player's name in the field; then hit Compare.
You'll get a table like this:
379040e109160a8d7786b7e8341eb5bb
You can see the total points for both players, and below that how many times you have achieved it yourself, or whether the other player has obtained the achievement.
In green you can see the achievements for which you scored better than the other player, red means that the other player scored better than you. If this is brown, you both have the same score.
