What is the Map?

The map shows a graphical representation of the world, and is the key tool for navigating through the game. Just drag and drop on the map to move, or just use the arrow keys on your keyboard.
There are two maps available for you:
  1. The normal map, which shows you basic information about other villages, and your neighborhood. You can see your villages indicated by yellow, and your current/active village by white color. Hovering your mouse over a village will show you basic information about the village. Clicking on a village will give you a number of possible actions related to that village, such as the sending of troops or resources (see Map context menu for details).
  2. The political map on the right represents a much larger section of the world. From there you can see a larger overview of your surroundings, including your tribe, other tribes, your villages, etc. You can choose the displayed info from Display options >  Show political map (it needs an active Premium Account).

Continents:

The map is split into 100 continents, every 100x100 squares in size. The image below shows how the continents are laid out. When you're in-game continents are normally represented in the format Kxx, where the xx is the number of continents e.g. K55.

Displayed Information:

On worlds with the Church enabled, you can click on Display influence area of religion to show circles on the map showing your Churches' radius.
If you have a Premium account you can enable the political map by clicking on Show political map. This colorizes the top right map as can be seen in the example image.

The Activate context menu option toggles the availability of the context menu, as described above.
Premium account owners can opt to resize the map to any of the following sizes:

  1. 4x4
  2. 5x5
  3. 7x7
  4. 9x9
  5. 11x11
  6. 13x13
  7. 15x15
  8. 20x20
  9. 30x30
  10. Custom size (drag the side of the map)
