Halloween Event 2025: Mechanics
Tutorial: Learn the Ropes

When you first enter the event screen, you’ll be greeted by a short tutorial that walks you through the basic mechanics. This guide is interactive—just click or tap to continue after reading each tip.
If you ever want to review the tutorial again, look for the
Replay Tutorial button. You can rewatch it at any time to refresh your memory.
The Wheel of Misfortune
At the heart of the event lies the
Wheel of Misfortune, a haunted carnival attraction where you throw
knives to claim prizes. Each Wheel contains a selection of rewards, and you’ll use
Halloween Tickets to participate.

Shared with Your NeighborhoodYou and all the players in your
neighborhood share the same Wheel. That means:
- Everyone sees the same prize board.
- If a neighbor throws a knife and claims a prize, it will disappear from your board too.
- If a neighbor refreshes the Wheel, the entire board changes for everyone instantly.
So if you see a prize you like—
don’t wait. It may be gone in a flash!
Throw and Refresh
When you open the event screen, you’ll see the current Wheel in front of you. You now have two options:
Throw KnivesClick the
Throw Knife button to toss one or more knives at the current Wheel. Your knife will land on a random prize and instantly award it to you.
- You need Halloween Tickets to throw knives
- You’ll earn Grand Prize progress with each throw
- Occasionally, you can also get Bat Tokens, Cat Charms, or even Tickets from the prize slot your knife lands on
Tip: You don’t get to choose which prize your knife lands on—it’s random. But fewer prizes left on the Wheel = higher odds of hitting something good. |
Refresh the WheelDon’t like the prizes currently on display? You can choose to
refresh the Wheel. This replaces all existing rewards with a brand-new set of spooky goodies. Note: the knives will fly automatically upon the refresh.
- You also need Halloween Tickets to refresh and throw
- The refreshed Wheel is visible to everyone in your neighborhood
- Any knife throws after refreshing will land on the new board
Tip: If a rare or golden prize appears on a new Wheel, act quickly—your neighbors might be eyeing it too! |
Multi-Knife ThrowingYou don’t have to throw just one knife at a time! You can choose to throw:
Why throw more?
- You’ll earn a reward for every knife thrown
- You’ll also earn bonus Grand Prize progress when throwing multiple knives at once. Remember: if your knife lands on a slot with Cat Charms, you will also earn bonus points.
- If you hit a prize that’s already been won by another player or already claimed by you, your knife will land on a different remaining prize
Important: If there are too few prizes left on the board for all your knives, the Wheel will automatically refresh, and all your knives will land on the new board. |
Understanding Prize Types
Each prize on the Wheel is surrounded by a colored border, showing how rare it is:
Border Color | Rarity | How Many Appear per Wheel |
---|
Green | Common | Up to 4 times |
Silver | Rare | Up to 2 times |
Gold | Very Rare | Only once per Wheel |
Each prize can only be won a certain number of times—once it's gone, it's gone. You might also notice
special tokens appear on some prizes...
New Resources
Bat Tokens | These are the main event currency you'll use in the Clown’s Counter (the event’s new reward shop). You can earn Bat Tokens by:- Winning them from the Wheel
- Completing Daily Tasks
Once you have enough, you can spend them on special buildings and items in the shop. |
Cat Charms | Cat Charms are a rare bonus currency. These only appear on the Wheel and can’t be earned anywhere else.- Each Cat Charm you collect also grants bonus Grand Prize progress
- You can also spend Cat Charms in the Clown’s Counter for exclusive rewards
|
Tip: Always keep an eye out for Cat Charms—they’re both powerful and limited. |
The Clown’s Counter
The Clown’s Counter is the new event reward shop, replacing the Energy Token bars and chests from last year. Here, you can trade in your Bat Tokens and Cat Charms for a wide selection of spooky rewards. But be aware of your resources, as the reward slots are limited.
What can you buy?- Event buildings (including the Rattlebones Raveyard, exclusive to the Counter)
- Upgrade kits
- Historical Allies
- Boosts and bonuses
- Past Halloween items
You’ll need to keep an eye on how many Bat Tokens and Cat Charms each reward costs, and check back often to find discounts. They will be reshuffled with every Clown's Counter refresh.
The store will refresh automatically once a day. After that, you can refresh it once manually, and more times for an increasing fee of Bat Tokens. With every refresh, the purchase limits and discounts will be updated.
Daily Tasks
Every day, you’ll receive 6 Daily Tasks. These are simple objectives, such as collecting coins or producing supplies, and they help you earn Bat Tokens.
- Tasks 1–3: Earn normal Bat Tokens
- Tasks 4–6: Earn double Bat Tokens
- Tasks reset every day at 00:00 (server time)
Tip: Completing all 6 tasks daily will help you get the most out of the Clown’s Counter! |
