How can I cancel the construction of a building?

You can cancel an active construction anytime you want by simply tapping on the respective building and again tapping on the info button. A new screen will appear. In here tap the red 'Cancel Construction' button to cancel the construction. In general, you will get back half of what you spent to start constructing the building.
