GBG Trials: How Trial Rewards Work

How Trial Difficulties Work

How Trial Rewards Work

The Guild Battleground Stores

1. Overview: Two Paths to Rewards

The reward system in Guild Battlegrounds has been completely overhauled. The previous "conquest reward" system has been removed. Rewards are now earned through two distinct paths:

  1. Rewards per Encounter: There is a chance to earn a reward from every battle you win and every negotiation you complete. These rewards are directly controlled by your personal Trial Level.a32a89ff52cc6f6e10ec20ecb86a89f5Example of Encounter Rewards (accumulated)

  2. End-of-Season Rewards: A large reward given to all guild members based on your guild's final league placement for the season.

2. Rewards per Encounter: Your Effort, Your Prize

This is the primary way you will earn rewards on a daily basis. The type and amount of rewards you get from fighting and negotiating are determined solely by the Trial Level you have chosen for that day. A higher Trial Level means better rewards.

Introducing Battleground Coins
Instead of a random reward, you will now earn a new currency: Battleground Coins. These come in three types:
  • 097eb94de9b1ee99f5e497f6e2840010Battleground Silver Coins: The most common type.
  • aaf88447f4af564c27d02d940092c424Battleground Gold Coins: A more valuable currency.
  • 00852f04e6f9fb96e10fbb4d0b52e315Battleground Platinum Coins: The rarest and most valuable currency.

Higher Trial Levels will not only grant you a larger total number of coins per encounter but will also improve the quality, providing a higher proportion of the more valuable Gold and Platinum coins.
These Coins can be exchanged for rewards in the Battleground Stores - find more about them in this article: 'The Battleground Stores'

Rank Points Multiplier
In addition to coins, your chosen Trial Level also affects the Rank Points you earn from your actions.
  • Rank Points Multiplier: A bonus multiplier applied to the amount of Rank Points you earn per battle or negotiation.
By choosing a higher Trial Level, you will earn more Rank Points for every encounter, helping you climb the ranking faster. While playing on Trial 1 for example, you would gain twice the amount of ranking points compared to fighting the same units with the same results outside of GbG.

3. End-of-Season Rewards: League Achievements

At the conclusion of each 10-day season, everyone in your guild will receive a reward package based on the guild's final league. This system has also been enhanced.

  • Diamond League: Guilds in the Diamond League will continue to receive fragments for the current championship's main reward building (e.g., Somerset Hospital).
  • All Leagues (Including Diamond): In a significant new addition, guilds in every league will now receive a reward package that includes:
    • Fragments for the current championship's minor reward building (e.g., Somerset Infirmary).
    • A large bundle of Battleground Silver and Gold Coins.
This change ensures that all active guilds, regardless of their final league, will earn valuable fragments and currency at the end of every season.

4. Important Information about Battleground Coins

Your new coins are a valuable, long-term currency. Keep the following in mind:
  • Coins are Permanent: Battleground Coins are NOT reset between seasons or championships. You can save them for as long as you like.
  • Storage Capacity: Each coin type has its own storage limit. Once you reach this cap, you cannot earn any more of that specific coin until you spend some.
