St Patrick's Event 2026: Mechanics
Welcome to the engine room of the St. Patrick’s Day Event 2026! This page explains how your event town works, how to generate Shamrocks efficiently, and how to make the most of Managers, Boosters, and the new Event Token & Item Store system.
The Factories – Powering Your Progress
Factories are the beating heart of your event town. This is where goods are produced, ready to be shipped across the river and sold at the Festival in exchange for Shamrocks.
As you advance through towns, new factories unlock, each producing higher-value goods and helping you meet increasingly demanding Shamrock requirements:
 |
The Festival
The Festival is where you sell all your goods and get shamrocks in return. The Festival is the final cog in the wheel - only once your Festival generates the Shamrocks and adds them to your total will you be able to use those Shamrocks to advance to the next town.
|
 |
The Shipyard
The Shipyard is where you maintain your Ferry. Once your Factories have generated their goods, your Ferry will ship them to the Festival. The more you upgrade your ferry, the more goods it can transport across the river and the faster it sails.
|
 |
Hat Factory
The Hat Factory is the first factory unlocked in the event. This factory is free to unlock. |
 |
Flower Factory
The Flower Factory is the second factory unlocked in the event. The Flower Factory costs 1.1K to unlock once available. |
 |
Cake Factory
The Cake Factory is the third factory unlocked in the event. The Cake Factory costs 1.2M to unlock once available. |
 |
Drinks Factory
The Drinks Factory is the fourth factory unlocked in the event. The Drinks Factory costs 1.6B to unlock once available. |
 |
Fireworks Factory
The Fireworks Factory is the fifth factory unlocked in the event. The Fireworks Factory costs 111B to unlock once available. |
Unlocking and upgrading factories at the right time is essential. Strong production keeps your ship busy — and your Shamrock total climbing.
The Festival – Where Goods Become Shamrocks
The Festival is where everything comes together. Once goods arrive here, they are automatically sold, generating Shamrocks and adding them to your total.
Only Shamrocks generated by the Festival count toward advancing to the next town. Producing goods alone isn’t enough — they must be delivered and processed before you can move forward.
The Shipyard – Keep the River Flowing
The Shipyard controls your Ferry, which transports goods from the Factories to the Festival. Upgrading your Ferry increases both its carrying capacity and its speed, allowing you to move more goods in less time.
A well-upgraded Shipyard prevents bottlenecks and ensures your production effort isn’t wasted waiting on deliveries.
Managers – Automate and Optimise

Once your town gains momentum, Managers become essential. Hiring Managers allows you to automate production, shipping, and Festival operations, freeing you to focus on strategy instead of micromanagement.
Managers can be assigned to:
- Factories
- The Shipyard
- The Festival

Click the top hat icon next to a building to hire or upgrade a Manager. Each level increases their effectiveness, improving output or shortening production cycles.
Managing Your Manager Levels
While early upgrades are affordable, higher Manager levels become increasingly expensive. Spending Pots of Gold wisely — and upgrading only where it matters most — will pay off across multiple towns.
| Strategic tip: You’ll progress through several towns during the event. To fully upgrade the Grand Prize building, plan your Manager investments carefully rather than overspending in a single town. |
Fortune Coins & the Lucky Chamber Item Store (New in 2026)
St. Patrick’s Day Event 2026 introduces
Fortune Coins, a new event currency that gives you more control over your rewards.
Some event tasks now grant
Fortune Coins in addition to other rewards. These
Fortune Coins can be spent in the
Lucky Chamber, where you can choose from a selection of event-related items and rewards.
- Fortune Coins are shown directly on task rewards
- Fortune Coin rewards appear in multi-reward windows
- Fortune Coins are displayed at the end of each town
- The Lucky Chamber is accessible directly from the event window
This system allows you to plan your rewards more deliberately, instead of relying purely on chance.
Understanding the Numbers
As you advance, Shamrock requirements grow rapidly — and the numbers can look daunting at first. Here’s how they break down:
| (1M) 1 million |
1000 x 1 Thousand |
| (1B) 1 billion |
1000 x 1 Million |
| (1T)1 trillion |
1000 x 1 Billion |
| (1Q) 1 quadrillion |
1000 x 1 Trillion |
If the 8.4Q button to advance isn’t lighting up, check your total Shamrocks generated by the Festival — you’ll need the full amount before you can move on.
Boosters – Push Your Luck Further
Boosters give you powerful ways to speed up progress and fine-tune your strategy. You’ll earn them primarily through Rival Challenges, and you’ll also start the event with one of each to try them out.
 |
Quick Promotion |
The Quick Promotion Booster instantly increases a Manager’s level by one without spending any Pots of Gold. Earn it through Rival Challenges and use it to push past production slowdowns or accelerate progress at key moments. Instantly upgrade a Manager by one level without spending Pots of Gold. |
 |
Time Warp |
Skip ahead 2, 4, or 8 hours of production instantly. For best results, upgrade your Factories first — and don’t forget the Shipyard and Festival, or production may stall. |
 |
SwiftSham Savings |
Reduce the number of Shamrocks required to advance to the next town. This booster can be used once per town, so timing it well is key. |
