BackWhat is happening with Great Buildings on Beta?
At the beginning of March, we released the Great Buildings Prestige update on our test server — Beta. You probably heard about it even if you don’t play there. We've been receiving numerous questions about feature specifics and its release date here on our Live servers. So, we wanted to take a moment for extra clarification.
The Great Buildings Prestige update is currently undergoing a redesign. Between the technical and design complexity of the feature and other development topics requiring urgent action, we expect for it to take at least a few months, so you can consider the update to be postponed for now. We appreciate your eagerness to learn more and will share news as soon as the development process allows, but only then.
Once the new design is defined, we will make a dedicated announcement to share all the details. Until then, Great Buildings remain unchanged on Live servers.
Important! Our Beta server is intended exclusively for testing purposes. Because of that, we advise against making any strategic decisions based on updates we release there. Most features we try out on Beta change before they reach our Live audiences, as this is the primary intent behind testing, and this release is no exception.
In the meantime, our developers who aren’t involved in the Great Buildings Prestige topic continue working on other game features and new content. We've already teased some, and will continue unveiling more over time. Stay tuned for more news about all things Forge!
