What is the Museum and the Artifacts?

Museum is an institution hosted in your Town Hall.
Open the "Museum" tab to access its details:

The Artifacts and collections

The Museum holds Artifacts which are grouped into collections.
Artifacts are spread in various places in the game for you to find and collect. Some of them will be obtained with technologies or specific questlines, while others are chance-based and can be found for example in incidents or the Alliance Treasure Hunt.
The chance to find an Artifact that isn't guaranteed is always very low. However, Artifacts are unique, which means that you only need to find each Artifact once, and you can never lose it.

The Museum bonuses

While the main purpose of the Museum is to simply collect interesting items and offer some knowledge about them, they are also quite practical!
If you have collected any Artifacts in the game, they will allow your Museum to offer a culture bonus to the Town Hall. As such, the Town Hall will positively influence buildings around it (much like a culture site). Completed Artifact collections contribute to the range of the bonus, while the Artifacts themselves increase its strength.
Both the range and the strength are capped, so if you reach the maximum possible values, any future collections and artifacts will be effectively collector items.

Will there be more Artifacts in the future?

While the feature is initially released with just a few collections, there can be MANY more added in the future!
You can share your own ideas in the appropriate channel in our Discord server. Every now and then, there may also be specific calls for suggestions from the Rise of Cultures development team, which will be announced in our community channels.
