Role Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Discord Moderators to join our team of volunteers. As a moderator, you will play a key role in fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that all members of our community have a positive and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor: Actively monitor Discord channels for inappropriate content and behavior, ensuring compliance with community guidelines.
• Engage: Facilitate positive and constructive discussions, encourage participation, and assist new members in getting acquainted with the server.
• Support: Provide support to community members by answering questions and resolving conflicts in a fair and respectful manner.
• Enforce: Implement server rules consistently and fairly, issuing warnings, mutes, or bans when necessary.
• Collaborate: Work closely with other moderators and community managers to discuss ongoing issues and improve community engagement strategies.

Requirements:

• Passion for Gaming: A genuine interest in Forge of Empires and the gaming community.
• Communication Skills: Strong written communication skills and the ability to interact with members respectfully and effectively.
• Conflict Resolution: Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations calmly and professionally.
• Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other moderators and contribute to team discussions.
• Time Commitment: Availability to commit a few hours per week to moderation duties.
• Experience: Prior experience as a moderator or in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
