The following page provides a detailed description of the IFBC5 Organizer position. In this position you will assist in organizing the next International Fort Battle Championship in 2026.
Position type: Temporary voluntary, remote Deadline for applications: 2026-01-15 23:59 CESTCandidates selection period deadline: 2026-02-28 23:59 CESTAfter the IFBC concludes, we will review our needs and may offer a permanent position to some candidates. Please note: These dates are tentative and may change. We aim to organize the next IFBC in 2026, but this is not guaranteed until we officially announce the exact start date.You will have the option to decide whether you wish to participate as a player in the next IFBC.
- If you choose to play, you may contribute to event planning but cannot participate in event moderation.
- Applicants with strong backgrounds may still be invited to contribute even if they prefer not to assist during the event itself.
- Please clearly outline your preferences and availability, as these will be important factors in the selection process.
You mission:
- Plan. Work together with our Event Team on designing the IFBC5!
- Organize and coordinate. Be the present while the IFBC5 is running, help us solve support requests and manage battles in accordance of the planned schedule.
- Supervise and run the event. Ensure the event runs smoothly, be there for the community, listen to their feedback, answer their questions, make sure everything is fine and our rules are followed.
Your profile:
- Age. You are at least 18 years old.
- Gaming experience. You have a high knowledge, understanding and experience of The West.
- Fort Battle Expert. You have years of experience in playing and leading fort battles. Previous IFBC participation is a bonus.
- Activity. Several hours of online presence on a daily basis is something usual for you. You will be able to dedicated time during the IFBC5!
- Communication skills. It comes with the package — you don’t go below the excellence mark when it comes to communication, and it should be flawless in English.
- Problem solving. Creative problem solving skills.
- Organizational skills. You are full of ideas to organize events, come up with new ideas and mechanics for our event.
- Cooperation is the key! Be a team player, work together with others. Be polite, patient and open to new things.
