Goods: What are Goods and for what do I need them?
Goods are essential resources in the game, obtained as rewards from quests, incidents, Guild Battlegrounds, and Guild Expeditions. Some Great Buildings and Special Buildings also produce goods.
Goods can be produced through Goods Buildings, though their efficiency depends on having the matching Goods Deposits found on the Campaign Map. Each player has access to two different Goods Deposits per age, which boosts production in Goods Buildings by five times for those specific goods. Since it is not possible to have access to all five deposits in an age, the remaining goods can be obtained through trade with other players who have different deposits.
Goods are required to negotiate Sectors without fighting, unlock new Technologies, negotiate in Guild Expeditions, and complete certain Quests or Daily Challenges. Every type of Good will be needed at some point, even if it doesn’t seem important at first.
