Flags: What are Flags?
How to use Flags?
Fly a flag in a village to receive one of a variety of bonuses. A single flag can be assigned to a village in order to receive a specific bonus and, after 24 hours, it can be removed and reassigned elsewhere. You can assign your flags by clicking on the flag icon next to your resource and storage overview in your village. Alternativelly, if you have a Premium account, you can manage your flags from the Research overview.
What Flags are there?
|
Resource Production Fly the flag of resource production and watch your workers outgrow themselves in the production of new building materials.
|
|
Unit Recruitment speed Training new troops can be increased by flagging the speed of recruitment - a reminder that efficiency is not just expected of everyone, it is absolutely necessary.
|
|
AttackStrength Inspired by the flag of attack power that blows in the wind over their home village, soldiers will fight to the last man for what their ruler demands.
|
|
Defense Strength Gather your troops under the flag of defense to encourage them to give everything for their home village.
|
|
Luck Luck flags allow the attacker to predict the outcome of a battle more accurately by reducing the luck factor. These mysterious flags reduce the luck of war in the direction of 0, depending on the strength of the flag. A battle with -20% or + 20% luck in war would be reduced by a lucky flag with 6% to -14% or 14%. Since luck is always calculated from the attacker's point of view, the luck flag only works if the attacker has set it. It has no effect on the defense attorney.

|
Population Use this flag to encourage your residents to move closer together to make room for more residents.
|
|
Lower Coin or Package costs By setting this flag, you are forcing your noble families to reduce the price of coinage/packages.
|
|
Haul capacity Inspire your troops with this flag to new strength and stamina in order to return with more loot from successful forays.

Colors and Bonuses
The color of a flag indicates its efficiency (level), while the icon shows its category.
Flags can be improved to increase their efficiency by combining three flags of the same type and level, up to a maximum of level 9. To upgrade a flag, click the small red arrow in the bottom left corner of the flag. If you have enough flags, you can also use the mass upgrade button, represented by a blue double arrow.

For a level 9 flag, you will need a total of 6,561 grey flags.
How to trade Flags?
If you’re looking for a flag with a specific bonus, you can trade it with a tribe member for a flag of the same level. Flag trading is only allowed at a 1:1 ratio. To prevent misuse, account sitters cannot trade flags.
How to get more Flags?
You can acquire flags up to level 5 by completing quests or buying them, while higher-level flags require you to upgrade existing ones. Flags can be obtained through:
- Defeating units
- Creating noblemen
- Achievements (exception: Friend achievement)
- Completing certain quests
- Buying flag packages
- Recruiting new players
The Flag Overview page shows your progress toward earning your next flag, displayed near the bottom of the page.
Important note: In older worlds, receiving new flags through game progress may be disabled. This usually occurs after 180 days on regular worlds and 540 days on Casual worlds.
Other Information
Flags are global, so they can be used on any world that uses flags.
If you lose a village you do not lose the flag. The flag is automatically withdrawn.

The flags for attack and defense strength are listed in attack and defense reports.
You can use the Flag booster item to double the effectiveness of the current flag. Changing the flag ends the boost.
The simulator allows you to set up simulation battles with flags, so that the result of the simulation is more accurate.
When a world is closed, all flags are automatically withdrawn within 24 hours of the closure of the world and are thus available again on all other worlds.
