Relics - All you need to know!
Relics Overview
The Relics is a dynamic feature that allows you to find, collect, and utilize Relics to gain strategic advantages within the game.
Relics provide specific bonuses to villages, enhancing gameplay through strategic placement, merging, and acquisition.
Initial SelectionUpon accessing the Relics, you can choose one of the four Relics as your starter. These Relics will bear your name, personalizing the journey.
Collecting Relics
Players can acquire Relics through various means, such as initial selection upon entering the Relics system, conquering villages, and finding Relics when taking over barbarian villages. When you are the first player to find a Relic, the Relic will bear your name.
Relic Types, Stats, Classes- Types: Relics can take forms such as Swords, Bows, Axes, etc. See the full list in the table below.
- Main Stats: These are fixed based on the relic type and offer bonuses related to specific units, like increasing offensive and defensive power. Check the table below for more details.
- Sub Stats: These provide random buffs and can be re-rolled to suit your needs better. Sub Stats are taken from the list of Main Stats, and there cannot be two identical Sub Stat bonuses on the same Relic.
- There are 5 different types of Classes: Shoddy, Basic, Enhanced, Superior, and Renowned. The higher the Class, the better the Stats, and the further its reach.
Merging Relics
Relics of the same type that are merged (e.g., 3 swords) will change the following aspects:
- The main relic will upgrade but remain the same type, so a sword stays a sword but becomes of higher quality.
- The relic image changes to a higher-quality image.
- The relic name and color will change to a higher quality.
- The relic buff types stay the same, but the numerical values increase.
- The relic range can increase.
You can also merge relics of different types, but they must be of the same quality. This will change the following aspects:
- The main relic will change into a random relic of a higher quality.
- All stats of the newly merged item will differ from the upgraded item.
- The relic image changes to a higher-quality image.
- The relic name and color will change to a higher quality.
- The relic buffs will be randomized, but the numerical values will change to a higher quality.
- The relic range can increase
Relics Management- Treasury: Here you can manage your Relics. It houses the relic inventory, where you can merge or equip Relics.
- Relic Placement: You can assign Relics to villages to grant bonuses within a specific radius. Only up to 10 villages can have Relics at a time, requiring strategic deployment.
- You can remove Relics from villages to reposition them or use them for merging.
- Note: Once you assign a Relic to a specific village, there is a 24-hour cooldown until you can exchange or remove the Relic.
Finding Relics- Relics can be captured by conquering another player’s village containing a Relic, or any other village on the map.
Relic Range and Map Display- Each Relic affects a defined area around the village. Relics of a higher Class have a wider influence.
- The effect radius is visible on the map when hovering over your villages with Relics, providing a clear view of its influence.

FAQ Relics Question | Answer |
---|
Starter Relic (1 from 4 to choose) - Are these 4 the same for every player? If yes, on other/next worlds will be the same 4 or a different pool? | Yes, these are the same for every player. It's possible that in the future we may make adjustments to starter Relics, but they will remain the same for all players to keep it fair. |
Relics in a barbarian village are the same for everyone or are they drawn at the moment of its conquering? | Yes, they are set when the barbarian village spawns, and so they are the same for everyone. |
Relics will be in every barbarian village? | If a village turns to a barbarian village, it will receive a new random Relic again. So every bavarian village has a Relic, but equipped Relics get lost. |
If a barbarian village is captured and becomes barbarian again later, does it receive a Relic again without end? | Yes |
When a player is deleted, does their Relic stay in the village? What about the Treasury after being conquered (and if there was any Relic unused in any village)? | No, the village turns into a barbarian village, and will receive a new random Relic. |
How is a Relic's range calculated on every level? Is this range the same for every type of Relics? | Shoddy = +1 map tile Basic = +1 map tiles Enhanced = +2 map tiles Superior = +2 map tiles Renowned = +3 map tiles |
What about bonuses from the Relics stack? If a village is in the area of 5 Relics, do their bonuses work together (so I can receive, eg +50% power to any unit) or, eg only a higher bonus of a specific type will work? If it will stack - is this any limit of max bonus? | Relics have an area of effect, and the maximum bonus they can provide to a village for any given statistic is capped at 10%. So, for example, a village influenced by three Relic areas, each offering a +10% boost to archer defense (totaling 30%), would still only receive a 10% increase due to this cap. However, since substats have a maximum value of 5%, you can add these on top until you reach the 10% cap. While some Relic stats are modifications rather than direct effects (like economic impacts), typically, only one modification of a particular type can be applied to a village. However, modifications originating from Relics can be added on top of existing modifications. |
What are the percentages of bonuses at subsequent levels?

Main Stat: | Main stat: +2% | Main stat: +4% | Main stat: +6% | Main stat: +8% | Main stat: +10% |
