Relics - All you need to know! June 2026 Worlds & Onwards
Relics are special items that grant bonuses to your villages.
You can find them, equip them, upgrade them, and combine them to support different playstyles such as offense, defense, economy, and recruitment.
What are Relics?
Each Relic has the following properties:
| Property | Description |
|---|
| Type | The primary effect of the Relic |
| Secondary Stats | 2 additional random effects |
| Quality | Determines the strength and range of the Relic |
| Area of Effect | The radius in which the Relic affects villages |
When equipped in a village, a Relic grants bonuses to that village and nearby villages (of the same player) within its range.
A village can benefit from multiple Relics at once, but the total bonus for the same stat is capped at
20%.
Starter Relics
When you first unlock the feature, you can choose
1 of 4 starter Relics.
Each starter Relic is designed for a different early-game strategy.
| Playstyle | Type | Secondary Stats | In Worlds with Archers |
|---|
| Offensive | Axeman | Light Cavalry, Ram | Light Cavalry, Mounted Archer
|
| Defensive | Spear fighter | Swordsman, Heavy Cavalry | Archers, Heavy Cavalry
|
| Economy | Wood production | Clay production, Iron production |
|
| Recruitment | Barracks Recruit Speed | Stable Recruit Speed, Workshop Recruit Speed |
|
If you are the first player to discover a Relic, it will show your name as the discoverer.
How to get Relics
You can get Relics in several ways.
| Method | Description |
|---|
| Starter Relic | Choose 1 of 4 starter Relics |
| Barbarian villages | Conquer a barbarian village to receive its Relic |
| Player villages | Capture the equipped Relic or receive a generated one if none was equipped |
| Daily Relics | Find up to 2 Relics per day through battles and scavenging |
| Restart transfer | Keep inventory Relics when restarting, with some exceptions |
| Tribe trading | Exchange Relics with tribe members |
1. Choose a starter Relic
At the beginning, you can choose 1 of 4 starter Relics.
2. Conquer barbarian villages
Each barbarian village contains a Relic.
When you conquer the village, you receive that stored Relic.
If a village becomes barbarian later in the game, it gets a new random Relic. Its quality depends on village size:
| Village Size | Quality Chances |
|---|
| Size 1 | Shoddy 90%, Sturdy 9%, Enhanced 1% |
| Size 2 | Shoddy 70%, Sturdy 25%, Enhanced 5% |
| Size 3 | Shoddy 50%, Sturdy 45%, Enhanced 5% |
| Size 4 | Shoddy 30%, Sturdy 60%, Enhanced 10% |
| Size 5 | Shoddy: 10%, Sturdy: 70%, Enhanced: 20%
|
| Size 6 | Sturdy: 60%, Enhanced: 35%, Superior: 5%
|
3. Conquer player villages
If you conquer a player village, there are 2 possible outcomes:
| Situation | Result |
|---|
| The village has an equipped Relic | You capture that Relic |
| The village has no equipped Relic | You receive a newly generated random Relic |
The generated Relic uses the same quality chances as barbarian villages.
Note: When you conquer a player village, the captured or generated Relic does not go directly to your inventory. Check section "Captured Relics after conquest" further below.
4. Daily Relics from battles and scavenging
You can find up to
2 additional Relics per day through battles and scavenging.
You have a chance to receive a Relic:
| Activity | Eligible |
|---|
| Attacking | Yes |
| Defending | Yes |
| Supporting another player | Yes |
| Scavenging | Yes |
For battles, at least
5% of the village's total population must be deployed.
The longer you go without finding a Relic, the higher your chance of receiving one becomes5. Relic transfer on restart
Relics in your inventory remain with you when restarting, just like other items.
Exceptions:
| Case | Result |
|---|
| Starter Relic | Reset |
| Relics with unavailable stats on target world | Not transferred |
| Casual worlds | No Relic transfer |

|---|
| Immediately after the conquest | The Relic remains equipped in the conquered village |
| During the first 24 hours | The Relic is inactive and gives no bonus |
| During the first 24 hours | The Relic cannot be removed |
